The Orphan Sea

About This Project

This poster was designed for John Abbott College’s play The Orphan Sea. I used layered shades of blue to capture the calm yet mysterious mood of the sea, and illustrated rocky shores with subtle human shadows to hint at the play’s themes. The title interacts with the artwork—like the cloud passing through the “A”—to add depth and visual interest. The layout balances a bold, elegant title with clear supporting details, creating a poster that feels atmospheric, cohesive, and easy to read.
